Your new role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Technical Support is responsible for assisting in the timely repair of down equipment. The position ensures field and shop activities involving maintenance and repair of mining equipment are conducted in a safe, efficient and economical manner. Responsibilities include assisting tradespeople in repair procedures and techniques when problems are encountered.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will possess the following.
- Must have a journeyperson level trades certification along with a minimum of 3-5 years Komatsu equipment specific experience and/or heavy equipment experience.
- Knowledge of maintenance and repair of mining parts and equipment. Must possess above average communication, organization and multi-tasking skills with ability to keep accurate detailed notes.
- Good/ excellent computer knowledge and skills (i.e. Word, Excel, General Electric Software and Cummings Engine Software, Payload, etc.) are required with the ability to learn new technology. Also requires knowledge of all relevant acts, regulations, and equipment inspection requirements and to deal with all local and regulatory authorities.
- Valid driver’s license. Not have any site restrictions
